Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 oz melted chocolate in a water bath (baño de maria)
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tsp brandy
Procedure:
Melt the chocolate. In a container mix the yolks with the sugar and beat the chocolate until they double in size and get a light yellow color. In another container with a hand whisk beat the cream until it is about to snow or thick. Add the melted chocolate to the yolk mixture and sugar, add the brandy mix well and finally slowly add with a spatula the whipped cream to the mixture. Place in containers and refrigerate for 2 hours.
