Piña Colada Sorbet Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 (20oz) can pineapple
- 1 (14oz) can coconut milk
- 1/4 cup lime juice
Procedure:
Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat, stir and boil until the liquid becomes clear, about 1 minute. Drain and blend pineapple in a blender. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and water mixture, pineapple, coconut milk, and lime juice. Refrigerate until chilled, about 3 hours. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze.
