Hawaiian Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 lb sliced thighs
- 2 tbsp adobo seasoning with pepper
- 1/4 cup corn oil
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup green peppers chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup moro pimientos
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup pineapple jam
- 1 cup white wine
- 2 cup pineapple in cubes
- 1/4 cup nuts
Procedure:
Season chicken with adobo and refrigerate at least 1 hour. In a saucepan add oil and sauté chicken, remove and drain excess oil with a towel. In the same saucepan sauté onions, peppers and garlic for 2-3 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients, season to taste and cook 5 more minutes. Add the chicken and simmer 5 minutes. Serve with white rice.
