Chicken Breast with Caramelized Onions Recipe
- 2 breasts
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large onions thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Season the breasts with salt and pepper, in a hot skillet
add 3 tbsp of olive oil and seal them for 2 minutes
per side and then lower the fire and cook covered for 8-10 minutes.
Once the breasts are ready remove and reserve, in the same pan
add the onions and sauté for 3 minutes, add the sugar,
and continue to suffer constantly moving until a caramel color.
Add wine and broth, boil for 2 minutes and season to taste with
salt and pepper. Serve on the breasts.
